What is BWRT® ?
‘BWRT®’ stands for ‘BrainWorking Recursive Therapy®’, a model of psychology and psychotherapy created by UK professional therapist, Terence Watts, MCGI. It’s a totally confidential method that doesn’t require you to reveal your private information or personal secrets to your therapist and is carried out in a completely conscious state. It doesn’t use hypnosis or any mystical concepts – it’s completely logical, practical and down-to-earth, and only needs you to know what you want to change in your life for it be completely successful. What makes BWRT® so special?
BrainWorking Recursive Therapy® is a very fast therapy, and depending on the complexity of the issues, most of them can be resolved in very few sessions, sometimes even just one session is enough! What’s more BWRT® doesn’t require from you to do any homework or exercises, what it does require is your full engagement during the session.
As you already read above, the therapy is basically “content free”, meaning you won’t have to reveal any secrets, neither try to dig too deep to find the root of the problem, which often comes with a lot of difficult emotions and creates a lot of anxiety.
During the session, we will first explore how our brains work as well as how the therapy itself works, and then we will move to the practical part.
Here, with my guidance, you will be using the most powerful tool available out there, your own mind! You will create little pieces, Lego blocks if you wish, and then I will help you put them together, into something beautiful, something you create yourself, so you can start feeling the way you want to feel. To complete this process all I will have to know is how something makes you feel, and how you would like to feel instead.
Remember, you can only control what you can control, and in life there are more things out of your control than not. No therapy in the world will change this.
What BWRT can do though, is change the way you respond to those external stimuli. To put it simply, a lot of the time, changing the reality isn’t an option, at least until you change your perception of it, then you’ll see how that reality changes for you, and you start to Feel Your Best! Whatever this means to you. Because your mental health is all about you and how you feel in everything that surrounds you.
